Du 04 au 11 août 2018 à La Réunion, la 6ième Coupe de l'Océan Indien réunit les Seychelles, La Réunion et Maurice, pour des rencontres dans différentes disciplines : laser 4.7, laser radial, Laser Standard, optimists lors de cette compétition inter-îles.
Après cette troisième journée de régate, 10 courses ont été courues dans les séries laser et 9 en optimists. Il semble que les baleines étaient de la partie.
